Hours
Koru Montessori is open Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
We follow the school term calendar, but also offer a holiday programme for those who require it.

20 hours ECE subsidy

Koru Montessori offers the ‘20hrs ECE’ subsidy  for its 3,4 and 5 year olds. To enable us to do this without compromising the quality of the services provided, additional charges are invoiced as part of the Fees Policy.

Fee Payment
Fees are invoiced at the beginning of each term and prior to the holidays for those booked in. All fees are required to be paid within 10 days of invoicing. Overdue fees incur a 10% penalty on the outstanding balance. Koru Montessori requires one month notice in writing if you intend to withdraw your child from the preschool.

Food

Koru Montessori provides morning tea food preparation as part of the Practical Life activities for the children. Children attending the morning or full day are required to provide their own packed lunch.

Entry criteria
We cater for children between the age of 2 years ten months and 6 years of age. Your child needs to be fully toilet trained and able to settle into the preschool environment without becoming unduly anxious or stressed by the separation from his/her caregiver. Readiness is assessed at pre entry visits.
All new entrants to the school begin by attending the afternoon class 1:00pm & 3.30pm. From here they move into the mornings, where a higher degree of independence is required. Readiness for this move is assessed by the teaching staff as morning places become available.
